Nashville, TN (September 25, 2023) – Anthem Edition is proud to announce the addition of several new members to their ministry team.

A new face to the industry, Cameron Edens will be filling the tenor position for Anthem Edition beginning in November.  Hailing from South Carolina, Cameron has been a long-time fan of Southern Gospel music, and is excited to join the ranks of quartet musicians. “I spent my childhood traveling with my dad while he was singing in Southern Gospel quartets,” comments Cameron Edens. “I have always had a love for the music, and began singing close to ten years ago.  Throughout the years, I have felt the call to use the abilities that God has blessed me with to a fuller extent.  I appreciate the opportunity to join Anthem Edition and am excited to see what God has in store!”

With this addition, Anthem Edition is also announcing the departure of veteran vocalist Steve Ladd.  Steve has been an integral part of the fan-favorite quartet for several years, but has recently felt led to return into his solo ministry moving forward.  The group is abundantly grateful for Steve’s contributions and wishes him the very best in the future!

Anthem Edition is also excited to introduce Joshua Stone as their new pianist.  This young man began playing piano at the age of four, and credits Anthem Edition with inspiring him in Gospel music.  “I remember being a 9-year-old boy, sitting in a pew with my grandparents watching Anthem Edition (then known as Old Paths) perform at a small country church in South Georgia, and thinking, ‘Wow, I wish I could do that one day!’” shares Joshua Stone. “I have always had a love and passion for Southern Gospel music from a very early age, so to have this God-given opportunity to join this amazing group of people is an understatement. I am forever grateful to God, as well as Anthem Edition, and I pray above all else that God continues to bless and guide me on this path. It is truly a dream come true.”

A vital component of any concert event is the ability to create an enjoyable experience for the audience, and while this position is largely behind-the-scenes, the group is proud to welcome Sean Chapman as their new sound engineer.  While Southern Gospel fans may not be familiar with Sean, most will recognize his father, Jeff Chapman, as one of the predominant bass singers in the genre.

Anthem Edition has long held a reputation of introducing new, up-and-coming talent to the genre of Southern Gospel, and these additions promise to follow suit.  The quartet is excited about the future and anxious to get started on new music with the support of Sonlite Records, and look forward to many more opportunities to continue in their mission to reach the lost for Christ, and encourage the believer in their daily walk.
